Taken from Kunish's August 18 note. The only format change this year is no replacement pick. Lines still come off Sportsbook.ag on Thursday.
Ten against the spread
Each week you pick any 10 games from the board. Jungle 29 is NFL + D1 college, except Week 1 which is college only. No replacement pick this year.
Thursday lines, Friday deadline
Matt posts Sportsbook.ag lines on Thursday. Do not play the early web-server numbers. Deadline is Friday 5pm Eastern. The card stays open until 7pm with no penalty.
Late card
Miss the window and you do not qualify for the weekly $1,000. Matt plugs picks in by hand and you carry an M. First two weeks are a grace period. Last two weeks start 0-1.
Games over .500
Weeks and the season rank like baseball: wins minus losses. Ties are thrown out of the differential, so 6-2-2 and 7-3 split. Splash counting a push as a half-win is not Jungle law.
Yellow Sheet
Nobody sees anyone else's picks until the card is posted. After that, every team is on one spreadsheet — the thing Splash took away.
Thursday / early Friday games
To take a game that kicks before Friday 7pm, you still have to submit a full 10-pick card. No Tuesday or Wednesday games except bowls and the rare NFL midweeker.
Fifty seats
The field is capped at 50. GARBAGE PAIL KID is the admin dummy and never counts. Seat fee is $1,250. Weekly purse is $1,000. The Sween Jacket goes to first overall.
